Join me for a final Sunday session of 2023 in the stunning Mount Without for a grounding and energizing practice of breath, yoga and sound. As the festive season builds, take time out to celebrate presence in this beautiful candlelit ancient church.

Through a dynamic practice of breath and posture we’ll activate the energetic body, finding deep presence, expansion and bliss. Some breaths will be expansive and transformational, others soft and gentle, both will allow us to arrive in our bodies, and reset our stress system. 

We will begin by sharing some cacao to bring us into our heart space before our practice, and finish with a crystal bowl sound bath to take us into deep relaxation.

One of the many beautiful aspects of working with Kundalini Global yoga and the breath is that they gift us the ability to self-regulate. The art of these classes is to discover that you can change how you feel. Our feelings are not in our head, but in our bodies.

We have autonomy, and yoga and breath can change our physical and emotional state, our hormonal flow, and ultimately how we experience ourselves.

This Sunday session is a continuation of my Breath Led Tuesdays that will be moving to Wednesdays in 2024, see website for more details to follow soon.

Breathwork, Yoga, Cacao, Intention & Sound bath

5th July 2023: 6.15 - 9.15pm at The Mount Without

Join me for an evening of breathwork, yoga, cacao and sound healing in the beautiful setting of the Mount Without to set our intentions, expand our energy, and ground our bodies.

Working with the powerful tools of the breath we can regulate the nervous system, change how we feel, and reach states of euphoria. Tapping this natural resource is an excellent way to experience complete stillness bliss and connection

Kundalini Global yoga will help to land us in our bodies, in the presence moment, and experience ourselves just as we are. Through the practice of breath, posture, stretch, movement, and prayer, we can connect more deeply to who we are, expanding our field of potential.

We will begin by sharing some cacao and setting our intentions to bring us into our heart space before a practice of breath and yoga, and finish with a crystal bowl sound bath to take us into deep relaxation.

You are welcome to bring something to the alter that you would take home with you after to help set your intention. The venue will stay open to connect, or simply enjoy this sacred space for a while after till 10 pm.

This will be a much small group than I normally hold in this space

Working with the anxious and addictive mind through breathwork, yoga & journaling

26 April 2023: 6.15 - 9.30 pm at The Mount Without

Join me for a transformative evening working with the anxious and addictive mind and setting our intentions through the powerful tools of breath, Kundalini Global yoga and journaling at the stunning venue The Mount Without, a very special venue that’s been used as a gathering space for over 900 years.

When we are in state of anxiety or addictive behaviours, our stress system is engaged, and emotions can be very difficult to deal with. One of the most helpful things we can do is change how we feel by connecting to our breath and moving our bodies instead of reaching out for something external in an effort to soothe ourselves, be it smoking, eating, rage, alcohol, drugs, or excessive use of social media.

I'm absolutely fascinated by the altered states we can take ourselves to with the breath and the stretch. We will be exploring the nervous system, particularly the role of the vagus nerve and contracted states within the body, and how we can work with it to release stress and anxiety and move into expansiveness.

The art of this process is to really recognise that you can change how you feel. Our feelings are not in our head, but in our bodies. We have autonomy over our bodies, and can work with the tools of yoga and breath to change our physical and emotional state, change our hormonal flow, and ultimately how experience ourselves.

Lucie Pemberton from @meditationcreativewriting will lead us through a short practice of journaling that can help support us in a process of change, notice our own responses, and reflect our own personal journey. Writing is a powerful tool. All is welcome on the open page, there is no right or wrong way to write.

Having struggled with addiction myself, I experienced a powerful change after completing Carolyn Cowan's Mastering The Addictive Personality training in 2018 and learning the understanding, tools and extraordinary techniques I needed to finally understand the roots of addiction and anxiety. It is an honour to now teach the same techniques that have been so transformative for me.

This workshop is open to all levels, to anyone wanting to learn how to soothe themselves from anxiety or addictive behaviours. Please note this is not suitable for pregnant people.

My classes are always brought to a close with the soothing sounds and frequencies of the crystal bowl, which I play to bring us into a deeper state of relaxation to seal the practice

  • Doors open at 6pm to arrive & settle

  • Begin at 6.15pm

  • Finish 9.30pm

If you’d like to stay and enjoy a bowl of hot vegetarian food at the end there will be some for everyone. The doors will stay open till 10.30.

Astrology, breath work , yoga and sound bath

I’m super excited to be collaborating with astrologer & sound healer Heather Montgomery at the beautiful Mount Without this March where we’ll be exploring the heavens through astrology, Kundalini Global Yoga, breathwork and sound healing

Drawing on the ancient wisdom of astrology, embodied psychosynthesis Astrologer Heather will talk us through what’s happening at this incredibly powerful time, how the planets are aligning, what we can do to harness these potent energies, and helping us to set our intentions for this time of transition.

I will then lead us through a dynamic practice of breath and posture to activate the energic body, allowing anything held to be released, finding expansion and deep presence. By calming the nervous system, and finding peace within we can move through times of change with ease.

Conscious breathing is deeply transformative, I'm absolutely fascinated by the altered states we can take ourselves to, where we can have autonomy over our own body. Some breaths will be energetic, some incredibly soft and gentle, both will allow us to experience complete stillness.

Heather will then bring us to the healing vibrations of a gong bath to ground our energies and sooth the body.

Cacao Ceremony, Kundalini Global, Breaths and Sound Bath

2.30pm to 6.30pm

A special invitation to join me and Fay Rosamond as we return to the incredible Mount Without in Bristol for a sacred Sunday afternoon of deep healing and connection. 

Fay will be opening the space with a cacao ceremony to bring us into our heart space, where we will set our intentions for the afternoon and show gratitude for this sacred medicine.

We will then come into a full and vibrant practice of ultimate presence with an elevating candlelit Kundalini Global yoga class. This will be a dynamic practice which aims to nourish you and expand what is possible. 

We will round out our practice with some transformational, expansive breaths that will aid us into entering a deeper state of stillness. Fay will then lead us into a deeply calming gong bath to ground our energy and bring the workshop to a close at 6.30 pm.

If you would like to stay and enjoy a simple pot of hot vegetarian food and relax and connect with others at the end, you are more than welcome and the space will be open until 7.30

 Join us for a special evening of Kundalini Yoga, Cacao and Reflective Writing in the breathtaking setting of The Mount Without, a beautiful 900 yr old church, where we will explore the alchemy of intention setting on the Autumn Equinox.

Changing our reality through intention, feeling and action is the basis of manifestation. Whether that’s finding your bliss, letting go of old ways, or creating more presence and awareness about what you’re attracting in your life, these powerful principles are tools for life. Now more than ever we are being called to harness our own consciousness to create the world we want to live in, and the magical portal of the Equinox is the perfect time to address the balance in our lives.

Yoga and writing together create a complete process where we move the physical body through breath and posture, opening the gateway to our higher selves, and allowing our deepest thoughts to land on the page with ease and authenticity.  Whether it’s a prayer, an affirmation, a poem, or a promise, we will be working with ways to create change through yoga and writing, honouring the balance of light and dark this Equinox.

We will open the yoga practice by sharing some cacao to bring us into our heart space, setting our intentions before we begin a Kundalini Global practice. Kundalini Global yoga works with the science of regulating our nervous system, landing us into a blissful state of presence and expanding our energy field of potential. We will be working with the breath, which is a powerful tool that allows us to experience more calm, presence and ease. We will then move to the page where we will write our realities, allowing what is present to land on the page, and acknowledging where we’re at as we transition into the darker months of the year.

We aim to create a safe and welcoming space suitable for all levels, no yoga or writing experience necessary. All are welcome.

Doors will open at 5.55pm so we can get settled to start on time at 6.15
